You can't tell the players without a program, so here's our guide to some of the major league players in the Mariner's Organization:
HiroshiYamauchi - President of Nintendo Japan and the guy who really owns the team. Don't look for him at your local Starbucks though, he's definitely an out-of-town owner. Worth more than most of the other owners put together. |
John Ellis - he of the crocodile tears (seen here before his Pinnochio phase). President of the board and in charge of day to day operations. Also involved with Private Utilities' attempts to rip-off ratepayers of publicly owned utilities. Warp his face to match his words here. |
Chuck Armstrong - Former Louisville slugger Armstrong is the President and Chief Operating Officer of the Seattle Mariners but he lives in Bellevue. Most of these guys live in Bellevue. What's that all about. Armstrong isn't as rich as the other guys. Maybe he's behind this whole deal... |
Chris Larson - Another Microsoft multi-millionaire (yawn) paid about 30 mil for his interest in the team and may be (this is irresponsible speculation but what the hey!) the driving force behind the owner's money grab. Dude needs the money cuz he's building an estate so big his Highlands neighbors - no strangers to mere excess - are sueing him! Check out the Larson digs here |
As soon as we can get mugshots of more of the owners, we'll put em up here so you can see what naked greed looks like. |
